WHAT IS THE AQUASCAPE
RAINWATER HARVEST SYSTEM?

The concept is simple - utilize a modular system that will Capture, Store and Reuse water. Traditional rainwater harvesting is designed using plastic barrels (55 gallon drums) or large above ground and below ground cisterns where water is stored. Aquascape has taken this traditional rainwater harvesting concept and combined it with the Aquascape Ecosystem. The re-circulating ecosystem eliminates the concerns of stagnant water associated with traditional rainwater harvesting options. This approach provides the owner with the enjoyment of a beautiful water feature and helps them to better understand and respect water in the environment.

It's a fact - 50% of residential water is used outdoors and the water coming out of our taps is not as good as rainwater...and it's not free! The importance of capturing rainwater alleviates run-off from the excessive amounts of rainwater falling on impervious surfaces such as roofs, sidewalks, patios, driveways, and compacted soils. It is during this journey that the excess water picks up a variety of pollutants and toxins, this mixture of pollutants is wreaking havoc in our natural water ways.

RAINWATER HARVEST PRO-FIT UNITS

We have created 6 rainwater harvest units that fit into the PRO-Fit system offering. These units are pulled together in a similar fashion to the Pondless Waterfall PRO-Fit boxes. The rainwater harvest units include one Downspout Filter, Snorkel, Centipede module, Aquablox and the liner and underlayment for the storage chamber. The systems use the PRO-Fit color coding system, so you can easily match the suggested PRO-Fit Signature BIOFALLS® to the project.
